Planning a Green Season charter in Zambia? Here are our Charter Flights

Zambia’s green season can change the rhythm of a fly-in safari. Start with your lodge dates, preferred route and group details so the Sky Trails team can help you plan your charter flights around your trip.

Start with your destination

From Lusaka, you can enquire about flights to Mfuwe for South Luangwa, Jeki or Royal for the Lower Zambezi, and Chunga for Kafue. Tell us the name of your lodge so we can discuss the most suitable airstrip. Check your lodge’s opening dates and onward transfer arrangements before finalising your itinerary. Explore Sky Trails destinations.

Choose the aircraft around the journey

Smaller Cessnas can suit compact groups, while a Piper Chieftain offers more seats. We also have our helicopters for less accessible waterlogged destinations - as we said we can get you anywhere! Passenger numbers, routing, luggage and airstrip conditions all help determine which aircraft fits your itinerary. View the Sky Trails fleet.

Discuss luggage before you pack

Share the number, approximate weights and dimensions of your bags, including camera gear, children’s equipment or other bulky items. Ask the charter team to confirm in writing your allowance and whether soft-sided bags are needed for your specific flight. Do not assume a limit from a different aircraft or a previous booking will apply.

Build some flexibility into your itinerary

Ask how weather-related changes are handled and allow time around onward flights or fixed activities. Confirm the booking conditions, cancellation terms and arrangements for changes before paying. Routing and timing are subject to weather, operational suitability and aircraft availability.

Check the complete quotation

Ask what is included in the quoted price, which currency applies, and whether taxes, landing charges, waiting time or ground transfers are additional. If accommodation is bundled with a flight, confirm meals, drinks, activities, guest minimums, single supplements and the validity dates. An advertised starting price is not a final quotation for every group.

Request a green-season charter quote

Send your departure point and destination, preferred dates, passenger count and luggage details or special requirements. Include any lodge bookings or onward flights so the team can advise on your connections. Email reservations@skytrailszambia.com or see charter rates and request a quote.
